Streaming live on Twitch to audiences in the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Turkey and Spain, you’ll be able to watch your favorite squads duke it out for the title.

Excited yet? Here’s everything you need to know about VCT Game Changers EMEA Series #2.

VCT Game Changers EMEA Series #1 review: The Return of the Queens

It’s been a while since our high skilled women took to the VCT Game Changers stage, but Series #1 of the now iconic competition left our jaws on the floor and our hearts in our mouths.

Running from January 24 to February 6, an insane 84 teams threw their names in the hat to compete; meaning 420 women from across EMEA clashed in the battle of a lifetime (and that’s excluding subs!)

Snatching the crown and proving they’re ready to take their stage, G2 Esports’ all-female squad, G2 Gozen, fought their way to the top, toppling British behemoths, Guild X, on their path to glory. With Michaela ‘mimi’ Lintrup leaving fans in awe, the Sentinel queen bent Cypher and Killjoy’s utility to her will to help her team emerge victorious.

With €30,000 up for grabs, as well as another notch to add to their belt, G2 Gozen are no doubt prepped and ready to take down their competitors once more; but there’s a whole host of lionesses looking to pounce.

In the wake of the competition, Vera Wienken, Brand Manager DACH at Riot Games, said: “As Game Changers continues to blossom and evolve, we’re looking to encourage even more teams to get involved. Coming into Stage #1 of 2022 we’ve already seen 20 more teams sign up than we saw in previous iterations; and as this year’s cycle progresses we hope that number increases exponentially. We’re looking to show the world that EMEA’s women are claiming their stage, and have the international crown in our sights. While North America’s Cloud9 White may be the women to watch right now, they’d better not get too comfortable! The NA/EU rivalry is real, and we’re bringing the fire.”

What’s next? Looking ahead to VCT Game Changers EMEA Series #2

VCT Game Changers EMEA Series #2 will take place from April 25 to 8 May. You’ll be able to watch the action from 5 May to 8 May unfold on https://www.twitch.tv/valorant.

Coming into the tournament, these are the squads you’ll want to keep an eye on:

  • G2 Gozen: It’s hardly a surprise that G2 Gozen are one of the squads that you’ll want to have on your radar. Winning 2021’s Game Changers EMEA Series #3, as well as 2022’s first tournament, the squad will no doubt be looking to continue that win streak in style.
  • Guild.X: Coming in second during Series #1, Guild.X fought their way through the lower bracket to get to the final, taking out the likes of Alliance.Coven, Rix.gg, and many, many more. While second place is nothing to sniff at, it’s pretty clear these women are out to snatch the crown.
  • TENSTAR Nova: While TENSTAR Nova have struggled to make their mark on Game Changers following their Series #2 win in 2021, the British squad are still very much one to watch. Having recently taken down Guild.X during the Birds of Prey: Episode 3 tournament, TENSTAR Nova are coming into Game Changers as a black horse; and who doesn’t love an underdog story?
  • Alliance.Coven: Alliance.Coven are still relatively new to the Game Changers scene, and while their Series #1 debut didn’t go quite as planned, the team has the potential to topple titans. The Coven have cast a spell on us; and we can’t wait to see how they perform this time around.
