May 30, 2022

With DSYRE, Enterprise Esports, MAD Lions, Team Falcons, Geekay Esports, who cars?, Case Esports, and Fire Flux Gaming sitting atop their respective thrones, as the season reaches its halfway point the race towards the finish line is heating up.

Looking to dive into all of the action all over again? Or wondering where your favorite team sits in the standings? Here’s everything you need to know.

VALORANT Regional League DACH: Evolution

Finally the MOUZ has been sent back to its hidey hole at the hands of new frontrunners, DSYRE. Taking down the top squad in a back and forth series across Bind and Icebox, Turkish Initiator, Fade, proved yet again that she’s one of VALORANT’s strongest picks.

Every other team drew 1:1 this week, meaning the tables haven’t shifted too much, but with MOUZ taking on second place rivals Ovation Esports next week, it’s anyone’s game.

VALORANT Regional League East: Surge

Surging to the top of the leaderboard and taking out formerly undefeated squad, NOM Esports, Enterprise buried their rivals beneath the sands on Breeze, handing them one of their two defeats of the week.

TENSTAR delivered the first sucker punch, though, beating NOM on Bind in a series that plowed deep into overtime. Will the former Surge champions be able to come back from these two narrow defeats? Only time will tell, but we’re pretty sure they’re going into Week 4 intent on proving their worth.

VALORANT Regional League France: Revolution

We’ve got a revolution on our hands in the French VALORANT Regional League, as MAD Lions shredded every team that got in their path – Karmine Corp included. The League of Legends rivals went head to head on Breeze, where Calum ‘KRAY’ Knight put the Viper to good use and choked out their enemies, propelling the squad to the top of the leaderboard.

Karmine Corp remain in the shadows lying in wait, though, dropping to second place but no doubt looking to Week 4 for redemption. While they also suffered a catastrophic defeat against Team Vitality, we know they’ll bounce back with fire in their eyes.

VALORANT Regional League MENA: Resilience

MENA’s Regional League is split into two different sections: GCC & Iraq, and Levant & North Africa.

GCC & Iraq

Another week goes by and the Falcons are still on top, soaring high over their opposing teams. While they did drop their first game of the tournament to vSlash, the squad are leading the back by a significant margin, leaving their competitors in the dust.

Week 4 ended rather unfortunately for Mythoclast, though, as the squad forfeited their games against YaLLa and SCYTES. Whether we see them return next week remains unknown; but given their initial prowess we hope to see them back on Future Earth.

Continuing their reign at the top of the table are Geekay Esports, but their position at the top of the standings looks pretty precarious. Struggling against Team RA’AD at the end of the week, the squad dropped their first game of the tournament for quite some time.

While they handed XPLDZ defeat on a silver platter, XPLDZ are looking as strong as ever, just a single match behind their rivals. As we head into Week 4, it’ll be interesting to see if Geekay can recover from their second loss, or whether it just makes them even more deadly.

VALORANT Regional League Northern Europe: Polaris

Denmark’s finest who cars? continue to reign supreme in Northern Europe: Polaris, still not dropping a game thus far. While it looked like HEET may have been their stumbling block, they pulled off the perfect reverse sweep, crushing HEET’s pocket pick, Yoru, and sending him back into the void.

EXCEL also had a good week, putting up a dominant show against Alliance and losing very few rounds in the process. Hot on who cars? heels, it’ll be interesting to see how the Danes shape up against higher-tier squads in the coming weeks.

VALORANT Regional League Spain: Rising

After a narrow defeat at the hands of Giants, Case Esports managed to turn up the heat and come back stronger than ever, retaining their first place spot, taking down Team Queso and Team Heretics to do so. While each match was a back and forth affair, the squad have proven that defeat doesn’t deter them, making them even more terrifying.

Arctic’s rise has also been pretty impressive, though, taking down the likes of Rebels to secure their spot at the top. Can they withstand the might of Case next week, though? Only time will tell, but it’s sure to be a clash for the ages.

VALORANT Regional League Turkey: Birlik

There’s a fire at the top of the Turkish leaderboard, and it looks like it isn’t likely to get snuffed out anytime soon! Fire Flux and SuperMassive Blaze cemented themselves at the top of the leaderboard this week, utilizing their countrywoman, Fade, to take out their enemies in style.

Futbolist are looking to topple both teams, however, especially since they gave Fire Flux a run for their money this week. As the weeks go on, it’ll be interesting to see if someone finally douses these fires once and for all.
