Week 4 Recap - All of the action from EMEA’s Regional Leagues

Jun 6, 2022

Characterized by upsets galore and insane plays, each region grows evermore competitive, with the lines between whose at the top and whose at the bottom growing ever thinner.

Looking to catch up on all of the action? Here’s our breakdown of what happened during Week 4 of EMEA’s Regional Leagues.

VALORANT Regional League DACH: Evolution

Maintaining their spot at the front of the pack, DSYRE remain a dominant force in DACH: Evolution. Taking down their closest competition, MOUZ, in a series of back and forth games across Bind and Icebox, once again we saw Fade and Chamber rule Future Earth.

For the rest of the teams it was a 1:1 week, with DSYRE being the only squad to successfully walk away without a defeat. With Angry Titans taking them on next week, perhaps we’ll finally see them stumble.

VALORANT Regional League East: Surge

Coming out of nowhere, Zero Tenacity have cemented their spot at the top of the East: Surge leaderboard, taking out former favorites NOM Esports early in the week before unleashing the full force of Neon on Enterprise Esports. Soaring to the top of the table, it’ll be interesting to see if Anorthosis Famagusta Esports can finally knock them down a peg.

Anorthosis also had a solid week, also taking down NOM alongside Entropiq. With the battle lines drawn in Week 5, who knows what the standings will look like when the dust settles.

VALORANT Regional League France: Revolution

The Lions are here, and they’re here to stay, continuing to prove that they’re the kings of France: Revolution. While beGenius took the squad all the way, Sector One stood no chance against the might of Alexandre ‘xms’ Forté, whose flashy plays on fellow Frenchman, Chamber, left BeGenius with only two rounds to their name.

While Karmine Corp’s week started out strong against OG, they struggled against rival team, Mandatory, walking away from his week 1 - 1. Mandatory, however, suffered a devastating loss to Team Vitality earlier in the week, proving that it’s truly anyone’s game.

From there, they decimated vSlash in the semi-finals, securing their place in the final itself. They’ll be joined by YaLLa Esports, who knocked 01 Esports into the third place match, where they’ll face off against vSlash to determine their final position.
