BoomTV takes over the VCT OFF//SEASON with their VALORANT Select Tournament

Next up in the OFF//SEASON, BoomTV brings us a creative new style of play, testing player’s versatility as they’re forced to create their own meta. Focused on the importance of a solid agent draft, teams will each select one agent to reserve for their team only before banning two additional agents each from the match. No more than two agents may be banned from each category (Sentinel, Controller, Duelist, and Initiator) completing this new style of the pick and ban phase. Will teams be left in chaos without their favorite picks, or will they be forced to come together before the match starts with new strategies we’ve never seen before? Tune in on Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. ET to find out.

The online tournament will start on Tuesday with 64 teams going down to 16 teams qualifying for the Main Event on Thursday. The Main Event will consist of the top 16 teams, reseeded based on qualifier performance, into a Double Elimination bracket starting on Thursday, November 10th at 6pm EST. The tournament’s Grand Finals will be a Best of 5 on Sunday, November 13th where the Select champion will be crowned!
