Champions İstanbul: Live Audience and Ticket Sale Information

Today we are excited to share the initial live event and ticket details for Champions İstanbul. Champions İstanbul is the final event of the VALORANT Champions Tour which will crown the 2022 VALORANT World Champion. From August 31 - September 18, qualified teams will compete for points, prizes, and a chance to write their name in history!

The event will take place at the VW Arena in İstanbul and will feature a live audience starting on September 9th. General admission tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, Aug 24 at 7:00am PT//17:00 TRT.

All ticket sales are final. The above prices are not inclusive of taxes and fees.

• How many tickets can I buy?
  • There is a maximum limit of 4 tickets per person per event day.
    
    
• What information is required to buy tickets?
• You’ll be asked for your name, date of birth, email, phone number, and payment method. Please note that tickets will be digital only and there is no on-site pickup or willcall planned.

• Do I need an account to buy tickets?
• Yes, to purchase tickets you will need to create an account with Biletix. To save time, we recommend that you sign-up and create an account before ticket sales go live.

• An earlier announcement stated that Champions would begin on September 2nd, why is the event beginning on August 31st?
  • To accommodate double elimination for bracket play the event will now begin two days earlier. Additional details on the schedule and format will be posted shortly.

CHAMPIONS İstanbul EVENT GUIDE

Here is everything you need to know if you are attending Champions İstanbul in person.The conclusion of the 2022 VCT season is right around the corner and for our fans attending the event in İstanbul, we’ve put together a guide to help plan your attendance.

• What language will the games be shoutcasted in at the venue?
  • For all stages of the event, games will be shoutcasted in Turkish

• Any age restrictions for attending Champions İstanbul?
  • There are no age restrictions for attending Champions İstanbul but the game is rated 16+.

• When does the Event begin?
  • On days with a live audience, the doors to the event will open at 16:00 TRT and the show will begin at 17:00 TRT. Please check https://valorantesports.com/ for additional details. Make sure to arrive early to the venue. With the large amount of fans coming to the event, we expect delays as security checks everyone into the venue.

• Will re-entry be allowed?
  • Re-entry will not be allowed.

• What should I know before attending?
  • Food & Drinks: The venue offers both Food and Drinks for sale. Outside Food and Drinks is forbidden.
  • Bags and Backpacks: They are allowed but its maximum capacity is 10 Liters. These will be checked at the security gates at the entrance or also randomly checked once inside the arena. We encourage you to bring open-top bags (not backpacks) as this will expedite the security check in process for all fans and will be easier to store under your seat
  • Photo cameras: The event staff reserve the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that conflicts with the policy set by the event. Cameras with professional/interchangeable lenses will not be permitted, nor will monopods, tripods, selfie sticks or flash. Professional audio and video recording is strictly prohibited unless approved by the event.
  • Signs: Signs are allowed but they cannot have sticks. Due to security and visibility reasons, the size of the signs should not exceed A3.
  • Tablets or iPads: Are allowed so long as they don't block the view of other fans. Even though these are allowed, we encourage you to leave this at home to avoid any losses or damages.
  • Other items: Please be aware that dangerous items are not allowed and will be confiscated by security. This includes sprays or aerosols.

• WHICH ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AT VOLKSWAGEN ARENA?
  • The following items have been prohibited for security reasons in Volkswagen Arena.
  • Weapons and items can be used as weapons.
  • Items that may be harmful to people or property when thrown.
  • Flammable and explosive substances, liquids, gases, lasers, sharp or pointed items.
  • Illegal drugs, narcotics.
  • All posters, banners, and materials containing offensive and political messages.
  • Documents, announcements, banners, posters, flags, poles, and similar promotional or commercial items without the organization's approval.
  • Flags, posters, poles, and other similar items may block the audience's view.
  • All animals except service dogs.
  • All other inappropriate and dangerous materials.

• If I’m planning to dress in cosplay for the event, what rules should I be aware of?
  • You must be recognizable at all times.
  • You must have unobstructed vision at all times.
  • You must be able to sit in your seat while wearing your costume. Please also make sure that others are still able to have an unrestricted view to the show.
  • You must be able to easily maneuver your costume over stairs or ramps unassisted.
  • You may not include liquids, gels, or other substances which could cause a mess.
  • The costume and/or objects cannot include, or otherwise utilize, any edged weapons (such as knives, daggers, swords), or blunt weapons (clubs, maces or other crushing weapons) in steel, iron or any type of heavy material. Sticks are not allowed to be longer than 1 meter.
  • Banned also are firearms of any kind including air guns or any other type of projectile weapon regardless of whether it is loaded or functional. Bows are not allowed.
