Crowning the Kings of the VCT Americas League

The first eight weeks of VCT Americas has shown an unbelievable display of electrifying aces, jaw dropping clutches, heartwarming victories and crushing defeats. With show stopping moments like Sentinel’s Marved stepping up with an insane 4k against MIBR, to Bang rallying the crowd with a 1v3 Red Bull clutch to win an intense series against Leviatan, every player has shown fearless determination to be the best. And now, the fight continues as teams set their sights on glory at the international stage.

Beginning Tuesday, May 23, the first-ever playoffs for VCT Americas brings the top six teams to compete for a chance to represent the region at Masters Tokyo and qualify for Champions in Los Angeles. The remaining teams will have one last shot at the final Americas slot at Champions this summer during the Last Chance Qualifier.

The six qualified teams are:

Brace yourself because there’s still plenty more VALORANT left to be played in the Americas. Here’s everything you need to know about the VCT Americas playoffs!

The top teams will face each other in a double elimination bracket with ten matches over six days of competition. The first and second seeds of the regular season will receive a first round bye, and each match will be a Bo3, until we reach the lower bracket semis and grand final, which will be a Bo5.

The top three seeds that emerge from the tournament qualify for the next round of international competition, serving as the VCT Americas representatives for Masters Tokyo and Champions Los Angeles.

Playoffs will begin Tuesday, May 23rd at a new start time of 1pm PDT with the broadcast pre-show starting 30 minutes before.
