VCT Ascension Americas - Everything You Need to Know

Across the Americas, the VALORANT Challengers League playoffs are preparing teams for the penultimate battle of the year - VCT Ascension Americas. Six teams enter and only one will emerge victorious, earning the coveted promotion to VCT Americas.

São Paulo will play host to this year’s Ascension Americas tournament, and fans are welcomed to cheer on their favorite teams.

From June 30 - July 5, the tournament begins at the VALORANT Challengers Brazil studio. On July 8 - July 9, the remaining teams take the stage at Pavilhão Pacaembu, one the largest and most iconic sports stadiums in São Paulo. The winner earns themselves a ticket to Los Angeles for the 2024 season.

If you’re planning on being in São Paulo to witness the clash, tickets go on sale starting Tuesday, May 30 through the Ticket 360 platform. Tickets are not guaranteed, and we highly encourage you to pre-register on the platform. Keep your eyes on VCT Americas social media for more details.


Six teams across the Americas three regions will qualify for the VCT Ascension Americas tournament - two from North America, two from Latin America, and two from Brazil. The representatives are chosen from their region’s respective Challengers League.

The six teams are divided into two groups of three teams each. In the first round, the two groups play a single round robin. The top team from each group advances directly to the second round double elimination bracket, while the runners-up face the third-place finishers of the opposite group. All series will be Bo3 with the exception of the Grand Final, played in Bo5 format.
