It’s 2019 in St. Louis, where back-to-back LCS Champions Team Liquid are facing off against TSM in the LCS Spring Finals. TSM’s bet on Zven, a decorated AD Carry from Europe, has not paid off. After replacing North America’s greatest AD Carry, Doublelift, Zven has fallen far short of expectations; as they failed to reach the finals for the first and second times in franchise history. Zven seems to have found his confidence once again in Spring 2019; a fact he makes known to his opponents from the moment he steps onto the Finals stage. He taunts his Danish counterpart, Jensen, during the opening ceremony. Then taunts him again in champion select, hovering Ekko as a nod to Jensen’s infamous finals misplay 2 years prior. Zven’s boldness continues into a decisive Game 5, where TSM holds a substantial lead. He heads out onto the map ahead of his teammates, looking to become the first player to ever win a title in both Europe and North America. With all the confidence in the world, Zven steps out into the river… alone.
